The Marconi Prize is awarded annually to individuals whose scope of work and influence carry on the legacy of Guglielmo Marconi, the father of modern communications technology. We recognize our Fellows for their lasting scientific contributions in the field of communications science and the Internet.

The Paul Baran Young Scholars is a community of young scientists advancing the frontiers of telecommunications and future applications. Through their creative work, scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs celebrate and honor the spirit of courage and wisdom exemplified by Marconi in order to improve the world.

Lifetime Achievement Award

From time to time the Marconi Society honors living scientists whose work, in its entirety, has significantly advanced the field of communications and the Internet.  The award is made solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors, and nominations are not accepted.
