The Marconi Society presented the 2025 Marconi Awards Gala and Institute Forums, and Academic Forum. This two-day event as brought together global leaders in industry, academia, and policy to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges in
information and communications technology (ICT).
The program culminated with the Marconi Awards Gala, honoring Nick McKeown, our 2025 Marconi Prize recipient, and Martin Cooper, our Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The Gala also recognized our Paul Baran Young Scholars, who have made remarkable strides in information and communications technology.

2025 Marconi Fellow
Recognized for his fundamental contributions to high-performance switches and routers and to software-defined networking, and for transferring these contributions into widespread practice.

Recognized for his lifetime of leadership in wireless communications, entrepreneurship, and public service and for inspiring others through his work, mentorship, and commitment to improving lives through technology.
