On October 25-26, 2024, the Marconi Society, alongside the Italian National Committee and the Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi, hosted the 2024 Marconi Awards Gala and Executive Forum. This year’s Gala held special significance as it coincided with the 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi, the revered pioneer of wireless communications, and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Marconi Society.
Against the beautiful backdrop of Bologna, we honored our 2024 Marconi Prize recipient, Teresa Meng, our Paul Baran Young Scholars, and celebrated the remarkable strides made in the realm of information and communications technology.
