Young Scholar Research

Ronit is recognized for his advancements in nonlinear optical combs for ultrawide-band optical transmission, development of novel silicon core fiber. Ronit is completing his PhD in Optical Communications at the University College London (UCL) under the guidance of Dr. Zhixin Liu in London, UK. “As researchers in ICT, I believe we have a responsibility to ensure everyone can live in a world where the internet is safe, open, and accessible to all.”

Fun Fact

Since my first year of university, I’ve been practicing a Japanese martial art called kendo. It’s a bit like fencing, except the sword is made from bamboo instead of steel!
