Leonard Kleinrock

Dr. Leonard Kleinrock is a pioneer in computer networking and developed the mathematical theory of packet networks, the technology underpinning the Internet.  Dr. Kleinrock is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at UCLA and the 1986 Marconi Prize winner.  He is also the winner of the 2007 National Medal of Science, the NAE Charles Stark Draper Prize and the Okawa Prize.  Dr. Kleinrock is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Sciences, an IEEE Fellow and an ACM Fellow.
