Skills Training Challenge 1: How do we create a level playing field in a new world of digital skill sets?

What is the Impact?

In order to better design the future that considers what all communities are hoping to build, there needs to be a more complicated discourse about representation within the core of design spaces. This will allow for better course development, outreach, implementation, and follow-up.

Why is this difficult?

Currently there are limited spaces where these conversations can occur as well as a lack of coordination to create shared approaches to improving the core of design spaces through diversity of actors, ideologies, and experiences.
