International Internet Resilience Awareness Week
The Internet supports nearly every part of modern life, from communications and finance to healthcare, logistics, and public services. Yet the systems and dependencies that make it work are often poorly understood until something fails.
International Internet Resilience Awareness Week was created to help change that.
Led by the Marconi Society Internet Resilience Institute, this new annual initiative is designed to raise awareness of Internet resilience, promote practical understanding of systemic risk, and encourage cross-sector collaboration around one of the most important infrastructure challenges of our time.

Today marks the launch of International Internet Resilience Awareness Week, a new global initiative led by the Marconi Society Internet Resilience Institute.
The Internet underpins modern life, yet many of the dependencies that support it remain invisible until something fails. This week highlights why Internet resilience matters, what is at stake, and why cross-sector collaboration is essential.
We’re proud to support this effort and the broader conversation around building a more resilient digital future.

We’re proud to support International Internet Resilience Awareness Week, led by the Marconi Society Internet Resilience Institute.
Internet resilience depends on more than networks and hardware. It depends on coordination across sectors, practical planning, and a better understanding of the hidden dependencies that shape modern digital life.
Follow along this week for perspectives, tools, and conversations focused on strengthening resilience.
#InternetResilience #IIRAW2026 #CriticalInfrastructure
Internet resilience failures rarely come from one system breaking alone. More often, they emerge from hidden dependencies across power, cloud, logistics, governance, and people.
That is one reason International Internet Resilience Awareness Week matters. Understanding these interdependencies is a critical step toward stronger preparedness and better coordination.
#InternetResilience #IIRAW2026
No single actor can solve Internet resilience alone.
Governments, industry, academia, infrastructure providers, financial institutions, utilities, and civil society all have a role to play in understanding risk, improving coordination, and strengthening resilience.
We’re pleased to support International Internet Resilience Awareness Week and this important cross-sector conversation.
We encourage our network to follow the week’s programming and join the conversation.
#InternetResilience #IIRAW2026
The problem is not protocol fragility—it is fragility in the Internet’s operational environment and infrastructure dependencies.
